Microsoft's Piracy Check

When it comes to Microsoft's attempt to curb the pirating of Windows. The only people that it is going to hurt are the individual user that uses Windows at home. And also, I did not see anything when it comes to older versions of Windows. (i.e. pre-Windows XP) I am going to assume that MS will just ignore those which will be good for people with older boxes that just don't have the cash to upgrade to a more powerful box. Or are happy with what they got and have no desire to upgrade. If not, I would love to know what MS would do about it. Because currently, they are offering low-cost/free copies of Windows XP Home if you report the piracy (i.e. tell them where you got it from). The problem is that if you are using an older version of Windows it is most probably because that machine will not run Windows XP Home. Or it is does it runs it so poorly that it makes the PC worthless. That is why I make the above assumption.

Multi-Party System in the US

We have mulit-party system in the US. Anybody can create a political party. That is great. The problem is that the two current parties (Republican and Democrat) have gotten together to make it harder for any other party to elect individuals. For example, when is the last time you have seen a party other than Republlican or Democrats on a ballot in a Primary Election. You don't. And who pays for the maintenance and up kkep of the ballot machines and election people to oversee the Primary, we do. Yes, there other things on the Primary Elections other than the candidates for the Republican and Democratic party. But why don't they pay for some of it. They got enough to money.

Hillary Clinton for President?

Hillary wants to be President of these United States and she will do whatever it takes to do it. Now, I am do not know about election law so I can not say that if this is even legal. But given that she is a lawyer I am sure she has figured out a way. Here is my prediction. Hillary will lose her Senate re-election. But all of the money that went un-used (I am sure it will be a considerable sum) will then be put into her campaign to be elected President in 2008.
